To my great shame, I got a terrible hangover after drinking 1 glass of red wine which was very generously offered by a lady at the Shang Wedding Fair.

Being a heavy drinker during my college days, I am familiar with the pounding headaches, vertigo, sweating, even the blackouts, brought about by imbibing liters of beer, tequila, and yes, even lambanog, gin bulag, and the infamous Skin-the-Cat* from the old Club Dredd (R.I.P.)

I staggered through the fair and finally found refuge in Imacron's room, where they were showing clips of past weddings filmed. (They are EXCELLENT btw) Ahhh, the joys of dark, airconditioned places when you're drunk and disoriented.

Is this my body rebelling? Should I have a steaming cup of coffee for the wedding toast instead?

Maybe grape juice should do the trick.



* a 10-peso concoction of lambanog and tabasco sauce
