Weights Update - Pep Talk
I've been on my weights program for 3 weeks now. I go to the gym about 4 to 5 times a week and do a split program with cardio workouts on alternate days.
So far it seems like....my body is getting bigger (eek!) Plus I'm constantly sore as my weights program is based on max weights so I keep increasing the load everytime I find it easy to lift.
I hope I start losing fat in the next 2 months so I can get myself measured for the dress on the 16th of October. I'd like to lose about 10 pounds so that would mean about 2 pounds per month, allowing for the December Pig-out season.
I'm also trying to stick to the South Beach Diet, and it's a bit difficult since I love bread and potatos. Hopefully I get through the next 2 weeks without breaking my diet. I can start eating some carbs after that period.
My goals: Get nicely toned arms and abs, whittle thighs, grow a PB, and look good in a bikini :)
