Flowers
Got the quote from our florist and it covers all items except the roses. Our florist is a very good friend of my mom's so she billed only for materials and labor, as the service is really a gift from her. Great Price! Totally reasonable, quite low pa nga. I am so happy as I've been dreading getting the quotation for weeks. Now I need to ask one of our ninongs if I can buy roses from them at wholesale prices. I need 160 dozens (!) in various shades of pink - from baby pink to fuschia.

Invitations
Berty and I visited Jean last Saturday to have a look at fonts and paper types. It seems that Ever only carries Strathmore paper in ultrabright white and natural white, and they really really specialize more on formal-style invitations. I've found the font I want to use for our invitations - Zapfino. It's a calligraphic font and looks almost handwritten. What I find cool about it is that it has 4 variations of text you can use so you are able to interchange types for that imperfect look. What I find uncool is that it is USD 120.00 for the set. I've got types 1 to 4 but want the Zapfino Ligatures and Ornaments as well. Hopefully Jo can get a set for me.

I've decided to have the souvenir tags printed by Ever na rin. I was supposed to make them myself, but they don't cost too much and with the way we are busy at work I may run out of time making them.

I think I am going to pay out of my nose for my laziness. Heh.

Coordinator
Meeting with the 3rd Party this week to sign contracts and give our DP. Salamat, tapos na rin ako dito. Jojit will give me checklists that will probably show me how much more work I have to do so I am not exactly thrilled to get them (them = the lists, not Jojit etc).

Makeup
My mother got to speak with Alex na and he says that if he is here in Manila he will prioritize my booking, but he may be in Europe for some training. Eeee. He says he will definitely be here for my trial makeup and will supervise Peddy, so that Peddy know how to fix my hair and makeup. Fair enough. Bonus is I get to have my hair cut and colored because siempre Alex will be able to cut to the style na.

AVP / Video
Got a text from Bong of Threelogy that they just acquired another 3ccd camera and that they'll shoot with 3 cameras instead of 2 at no extra cost. Galing!!! He also reminded me that we need to discuss the AVP. To be frank, I haven't thought of it at all. Jo says he will discuss with Bong via email, so I will need to remind him na lang.

Threelogy seems to be the talk of the wowies now. They're very reasonably priced kasi. I hope they get a lot of work because from what I see, they're a very talented and dedicated group.

I've emailed Mimi and Pilar about the change of venue from INC Cubao to INC Pandacan. Mimi's responded, but I need to follow up with Pilar. Agggg.

Hotel
Must email the Pen na rin soon to reserve. Aggggg.

Arrhae
I need arrhae. Where the hell do you get arrhae. Agggggg.

Just heard from Roy (Jo's best man) that he is getting married in January 2006. :) Jo says we'll be back in Manila for the wedding, as we will need to have our visas stamped around that time anyway. Goody good good.

Am I insensitive? Jo says I am quite dense when it comes to feelings and he gets frustrated that he needs to spell things out for me a lot of the time....

Yes, I guess I am a bit insensitive. I think a lifetime of thickskinnedness, directness and saying what I want to say has made me think that everyone does things the same way. Jo, on the other hand, doesn't speak up as much and waits for me to sense how he feels. Siempre, a lot of times I dont so he ends up telling me nalang. How do you train yourself to be more sensitive? :(
