I took Pia's advice and sought relaxation through retail therapy. Bought a pair of flat slides and 2 blouses at Solea (at 50% off pa!). Would have been perfect...but....the sales attendant forgot to pack one of the blouses.. Haay. I called the next day and they've kept it so I can have it picked up. No worries naman.

The invitations arrived. Lincoln did the calligraphy (found his contact details on W@W, and he's fast! ) We arranged, sorted, sent to the US, sent to Jo's mom. Haahay. What a relief.

Finalized the main dish for our dinner as well. We'll have the Confit Of Chicken with Mushrooms and Herb Filling, Red Cabbage, Broccoli and Pepper Jus. I didn't get to attend the food tasting because of a bum stomach, but Mom, Ka Helen, and Tita Boots (florist) said this was the best of the 3 choices.

Booked our plane tickets na rin. 21-25 Feb to Caticlan on Asian Spirit. Jo is a bit worried about the plane size, but really, it's not so bad naman. At least it isn't the Seair plane that looks like a Hi-ace van with wings! My sister actually rode one of those and she said they were being buffeted like crazy.

Oh, and we finally got our office laptop. Jo found a great deal on Dell's at 700USD off the regular price. And he got us a Crumpler bag for it as well.
In the bag he sent a really cute book of postcards by Yoshitomo Nara. I love it!
Mom say's the girl in the posters looks like me when I was a kid (probably because I was always frowning).
Joel is always really thoughtful when it comes to things like these. I know he spends a lot of time thinking about his little presents and I always get a happy heart flutter when I receive one of them.
I don't think I'll be using the postcards as the book is too pretty to take apart, but I keep it near me because I smile whenever I see it.

Hah! Booked the Sound System just now! Victor's Lights and Sounds, owned by Reynaldo Padua. There was a small moment of confusion because he originally thought our wedding was on May 1 (eeek!) but things are ironed out now. Better be.

I've also sent Jo the marriage license form. Hopefully he gets it notarized at the Consulate quickly, so I can file at QC Hall.

It seems that money is flowing through my fingers nowadays. I hadn't even touched my salary when I had to spend it on suits for Pa and Aldo. Sheee.
