Hair

Joel used to have the typical-guy short hair when he was in Manila. Pero when he went home for a vacation last March I got the shock of my life. (He got a late flight in so he visited me at the office nalang the next day.) My jaw dropped when I saw him and I looked like a fish yata - gape with open mouth, close mouth, gape with open mouth, close mouth.

Long hair! (insert memories of rocker grungy days here) hehe. Actually, it wasn't just the hair. He even dressed differently. A tighter Diesel shirt, AG Jeans, funky sneakers. I was a bit disoriented at first, pero after a bit was comfortable again.

I took him to Alex, my hairstylist, for a haircut (mahal kasi haircut in SF) and Alex gave him a really funky anime-character cut. Long-ish hair pa rin, but more style to it.

Last weekend, Joey cut his hair. It's not as long as before pero I like this cut a lot better. He's so cute now! Argh. I wish he were here so I could see his hair in the flesh (in the hair?)

I'm trying to convice Joel to have his next cut in a style similar to Arima's - kulang na lang uniform hehe.

Me naman, I cut my hair really short a few hours before Joey gave me the ring (he didn't ask me to get married so I cant really say he proposed), and right now I'm trying to grow my hair out. They say hair grows about half an inch every month so I should have chin-length hair by Feb next year. Alex says that I should probably pull my hair back (chignon kuno) and place some flowers where the bun should be. Oh well, I'm not too worried about it, I'm sure the MUA will figure out what to do.
