Final Fair
Well, I've finally gone to the last bridal fair before our wedding. I wasn't planning on booking anyone but I couldn't resist what was termed as "the biggest bridal fair in Manila". And, the chocolate lady was going to be there heehee.
Honestly, there was nothing at the fair I hadn't seen before, except for some pretty wire and crystal jewelry by Ursula Aznar. However, the list of exhibitors was very comprehensive, and if I had to name the top fair it would be a toss-up between this one and the Shang Fair.

I am a bit conflicted on whether we need to book a day coordinator. One one hand we've got a very small guestlist, I think I can be able to prepare lists for everything, and my sister can do the emceeing. On the other hand, I don't want to burden any of our family members as they should be having fun on the wedding day and not have to worry/stress about running things.
I had intended to check out wedding coordinators and was glad to see Paulette Dimaano there. Unfortunately, she's booked na for the day of our wedding. Gaaah! Talk about the fruits of procrastination (the lack of fruit actually). So sad :(
I really like her and Odette pa naman. She said she would check on their schedule and see if Odette could host, and I think I will be happy with that.
Jody Liwanag looks promising t00, so I think I'll give her a call. I need to know if she's done some Iglesia ni Cristo weddings, as the INC ceremony is a bit different from the Catholic wedding ceremony.

I hadn't eaten anything yet so I decided to check out the food being served at the receiving area. The dishes were by Batis Asul, and I ordered a set meal with seafood medley, roast porkloin and rice. The food was good albeit quite cold.
The tables were the standard 8/10 seater round tables so we shared the space with a couple other people, one of which was a loud-ish long-haired woman who had a bride ID, but was apparently a bridesmaid. She kept yammering in her strident voice about always being a bridesmaid and never a bride, plus whenever she is a bridesmaid her partners are always weird guys yadda yadda yadda. "Gawd!!!! Why do I always get these weird partners???!!! Gawd!!!"
Please, could someone pull down my kilay.

I also saw the bridal bouquets of Lily Flower Boutique. They are very pretty, and some were done with non-flowers: vines, twigs, berries, etc. Creative AND beautiful. Erik let me hold one, and you know what, it felt very weird to hold a bouquet. I think I still have a long way to go before I feel comfortable as a bride.
I'm still fretting about the mandatory after-vow kiss, as I think I will be a bit shy about kissing in public. During the early stages of the preps, I had actually joked about shaking hands instead of kissing but most of the people I discussed with thought it was really strange.
Joel is a bit like me. When he viewed the sample videos I had uploaded to his Xdrive he said: "Lets cancel the wedding na lang kaya, its kinda mushy eh" :S
